1950's Historic League Seeks Owners

Born To Play

- 1954 historic league in spring training for fourth (1957) season
- Rookies are assigned are to their real life teams, rather than using a draft
- Complete rules here.
- We realigned last season to a two division setup (four teams each, no wildcard) rather than simply have a two team playoff
- Three sims a week, 15 days each
- The league aims to most mimic history and has a very democratic process for league policy
- We are a laid back league of mostly older owners. Most of our owners export very regularly but it's not something I formally monitor. Younger owners are more than welcome, especially as we'd like a little more trading/message board activity.

Open teams are the Philadelphia Phillies, Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Coming up on trade deadline and still looking! I know that all of the remaining OOTP11 players can't still be in the league.

Add the Indians and Pirates to your list.

Note that we will convert to OOTP 12 for next season if that helps/hurts.

After the 1957 season? I am somewhat interested in the Pirates, but I am concerned with the 15 days per sim. What's the injury setting at? I wouldn't want to lose Clemente for 11 days of a 15 day sim and not be able to substitute him.

Injuries are set to very low due to diminished minor league depth and yes, we would convert for the 1958 season which is after the 1957 one.
