I Have A League Idea, I Need A Co Commish

The Endor Baseball League is my main league I play for solo on 11 ( might convert to 12 tomorrow)
I have 2 setups for this.
1st setup: 2003
My original 8 teams
American League
1. Endor City Capitals (my team)
2. Bird City Falcons
3. Colortown Parrots
4. Ford Thunderbirds

National League
1. Glenbard Cougars
2. Corvair Corvettes
3. Chevy Sky Larks
4. Brandywine Power
Each team starts with the orig players or a Inaugural draft can take place, whatever the GM's decide (I get 1st pick, only so I can draft myself)
Each year will have various amounts of custom players, later years would be almost exclusively custom players based on my history on my league.

Expansion years are 2004,2009,2012,2015,2019,2020,2030 there are a few teams that move in other years.

Set up #2 is all 32 teams as of 2041 with either fictional players or all players as of 2041. My team would be Delgado Tigers.

I have no exp running my own league, I am also not sold if anyone besides myself, Kev24Fan & Reds would like this league.

thoughts? questions?

Never ran my own league but going of my experience over the years and watching/joining other leagues is you'd be better of starting small, so I'd go with your 8 team league. It would be easier for you in all kind of ways specially not having to find a mass of GM's and be overwelmed in your first league, plus you and the other GM's would get to know each other better in just a small group.

Also like to add, no idea if you've built a story up of not only your league but the world they play in, I'd let your GM's build up a story of what their city is like which as a fantasy builder of OOTP worlds and leagues really draws you into a league.

thanx...I do have a backstory of my league, but in my history of it, i dont have that many GM's in the early years, so they would be more then welcome to create their own history if they want to.

The basics of my league history is that following the destruction of the USS Nimitz in the Gulf Of Mexico in 1995 from a Star Destroyer that was chasing the Lando Calrissian lead Millennium Falcon, I along with 2 others were picked up by the Falcon and taken to Home One and the Rebellion fleet. From there I served as Admiral Ackbar's aide and learned to fly a B-Wing and shot down 2 during the Battle On Endor. Following the Battle Of Endor while some of us from the Alliance gathered in Bright Tree Village we played a celebratory baseball game. I am 1 of 2 men responsible for bringing baseball to Endor. Admiral Joe Johnson (deceased in 2005) is the other. In 2002, I started to find owners for a Endor Baseball League. Motti Jenson who also fought in the BOE become the owner of Glenbard Cougars and we hired Jim McEnroe, a lawyer from Coruscant, to be our 1st Commissioner. After a mini season in 2002, Luke, Han, Lando, Kyp Durron and Chewbacca decided to join the league. i had originally just planned to be GM.MGR of Endor City but decided to see if i could play baseball. I am 1 of the best RF of the early yrs having played 11 sns .336 342HR. Other notable players of the 1st decade are Luke Skywalker CF, Jimmy Dugan 3B, Andreas Raht 3B, Markus Heinsohn SP, Nick Sullivan SS, & Mike Michigan 2B.

While i do have my own history, having 7 other GM's to square off against and draft players that would have normally not been on their orig teams would be interesting.
Glenbard won 20 consecutive division titles but only 1 World Series and have never made it back to the playoffs since. I as a MGR have 13 World Series titles, including 6 as player/mgr and 1 as GM only.
Each team has it's own set of pros & cons. Motti Jenson owner opf Glenbard is in Endors 2nd largest city, but he has the patience of George Steinbrenner. Garm bel Iblis owner of EC doesnt seem to care. General George Black owner of Colortown is clueless and CT has only 1 playoff appearance in 38 yrs. Bird City has had 5 owners in 38 yrs. 6 teams have folded.

In OOTP replays I have only gotten as far as 2010, Glenbard had 4 WS wins EC had 3. Ewok Village an expansion team in 2009, had 1 and traded away the best SP of all time.
Ok I can go on for days on this league i created it in the late 80's, and have played it on every PC baseball game known to us.
