I'm looking to move to a different franchise. I just can't seem to get over the hump with the Diamondbacks. This was our worst season in recent memory (78-84) and I deserve to be fired. We were 2014 NL Champs and made the NLCS in 2016. Went out in the NLDS in 2017.

It's going to be 2019. We have no farm system to speak of. We're overbudget. We have some aging stars and a couple of hot shot rookies in Mitchell and Mateo.

Lineup looks like this: C Joe Mauer, 1B Truman Mitchell (2017 ROTY) 2B Chris Owings 3B Mychal Givens SS Nick Franklin LF Wagner Mateo CF Dexter Fowler RF Colin Cowgill

Starting staff is Tim Lincecum, Cole Hamels, Felix Hernandez, Walt Blanton, and Madison Younginer.

Hernandez has a lot of money owed to him, and he's taken a dive since being injured two years ago, just fair warning. Hamels is on the downswing too. Lincecum is still an Ace, but could walk on a Player Option. Ryan Perry is the closer currently, but he stunk this season, but so did his replacement, Eduardo Morlan.

In short, the team has some issues that need to be addressed. Maybe you can fix them and get the team over the hump.
