Strange

In 2015 I finished 90-72, barely missing the playoffs...in the offseason I traded a couple mediocre young players for Jose Reyes, a 4.5 star with solid numbers, and didn't lose any players of significance from my roster.

In the preseason predictions for 2016 I'm predicted to finish 58-104...what gives? Reyes was on the 58-104 2015 Marlins...is he a predicted cancer or something? lol

Watch for a career ending injury. Somebody posted on that related to preseason predictions about a month ago.

If this is what happens, it may pretty much prove that "psychic" glitch.

Just to add more mystery I'm about to start a season where the pre-season predictions have me at 82-80. I haven't been under 90 wins for years. It'll be interesting to see if I get a CEI soon.

Are the presason predictions based on the depth charts? My depth charts are always screwed up during ST because I am avoiding injuries.

I do believe that the preseason predictions are made with the lineups/depth charts set at the time the predictions are made so if you have all your starters benched the predictions can show you having a very bad season. This has happened to me more than once.

I did see that post about career ending injury being factored into preseason predictions....which is why I brought this up.

Interesting to note....the first game of the season my CF/leadoff hitter Emilio Bonifacio, who was an all-star last season, got injured for 3 months.
