10/5 rights in OOTP
Do players ever waive their 10-5 rights in OOTP, or do they just automatically reject any trade? Seems like good players on a bad team in the last year of a contract would like to get to a winner.

I have seen a player waive it.... once, and I can't remember who.
I would like to know how the player decides to do so or what factors go into that. Player anger? Player attitude/work ethic? Market size or fan interest of the destination? It would be cool if the Ichiro type situation (excellent player ending a career wants postseason play) could crop up with the AI from time to time. |

I just had my overpaid 10-5 rule pitcher accept a trade to a team with the "win now!" mentality. So yes, it does happen.

Also, his mood was "good" before the trade.
