Is this the same Rangers park that you were complaining about not acting like a proper hitters' park?

I don't view this as a problem because I have simmed close to 1000 seasons since I first purchased this game over 10 years ago and I have only seen these home run games once. MLB has played only about 140 seasons so it is possilble that sometime, somewhere 5 homers in a row may happen. Last edited by SandMan; 02-08-2013 at 03:18 PM. |

Back in the glory days of the mid- and late-1990s, I remember an Indians game where we had 4 HRs in a row. We had an absurdly talented lineup in those days.

According to Wikipedia, back-to-back-to-back-to-back homers has occurred 7 times in MLB history. They don't mention any instances of 5 consecutive homers, so I assume 4 is the record.
Here's a list of the instances: Search Results for "Four Consecutive Home Runs By a Team" - National Pastime - Baseball History Ironically, 4 of them have happened since 2006. I would have thought more of them would have occurred like right up until 2006.

I submit that this record should not be accepted as valid since it was obviously artificially created through modifier manipulation......like the way wind-assisted records aren't accepted in track.....
I once made a league where there were so many home runs that I crashed the game because apparently there was (is?) a limit on home runs that can be stored in a player's record of 256 for a single season..... |

I was at the Tigers @ Rangers game a few years ago when R.A. Dickey (yes that Dickey) gave up a gang of homeruns in the first inning. I don't remember what the total was in the inning, andd they were not all consecutive, but it broke a record that stood since the 1800's posted by the Cleveland Spiders.
It was funny though because as we were walking into the stadium that day I told my buddy "knucklers are a funny breed, they are either on or get shelled. Wonder if this guy is going to be on?" Yeah, he was in the minors the next day. Glad to see he bounced back though. |

Nope...back a few years ago, I started a game with 6 in a row. There's a picture on here somewhere. I think it was OOTP 6.5.
Here it is: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...ml#post2484215

About a month or so ago I had 4 consecutive home runs in my fictional league... Thought about taking a screenshot and posting it here... Then I figured.. 'nah... I'm sure it's all been done before"... and I was right.

I am a HUGE Carolina Gamecocks fan. This is one of my absolute favorite memories in following Carolina baseball. And it was even more sweet against our heated rival Georgia Bulldogs in a Super Regional tournament game. Being that it was college baseball, i didn't get the coverage that it deserved...nevertheless it was amazing!!!
