Starting pitchers giving up too many HRs?
Anyone else have a problem with their starters giving up too many HRs? I have my 1 and 2 giving up more than 25, even though their other stats are normal for their skill ratings.
And this is with Safeco Field as my home park. |

If it's just two pitchers then not much can be determined from that. You should check to see if the number of HR in the league is higher than normal. If it is then you may have a league total or its modifier not right.
The other possibility is the Park Factor for HR is wrong at Safeco.

Are they flyball pitchers and had bad luck with balls carrying?

I have had starting pitchers give up homeruns when temps low but as season gets warmer they tend to do better MUCH MUCH better
