Trying to purchase OOTP on Mac

Hi
I have downloaded the demo, and am trying to purchase OOTP14 on a MacBook Air (running OSX 10.8.4). I launch the game, click on the 'Purchase' option in the menu, but nothing happens. Eventually the screen goes black (I can still see/move the mouse pointer), but it just sits there...eventually have to Alt-Cmd-Esc to kill it.
Is there something I need to do?

Buy it, then when you receive the license code via email use it to activate the demo.

Is there any possibility your MacBook is blocking internet access through the demo? The blank screen suggests it.

Hi Pete,

This is a known issue and has been reported to the developers. It's not likely this will be fixed in OOTP 14 but I will remind Markus to see about fixing this bug in OOTP 15.

If using the link that RchW provided in his post you are still unable to make your purchase, please let me know and I'll suggest an alternate purchasing method.

Just realised my previous post might have been a bit premature! I bought the game via esellerate in a cafe on the way to work on my Windows laptop (the Mac stays at home). So I have the code, but realised that if the problem is with Mac security, I might still have a problem entering the code and registering the game....will try tonight. If this still doesn't work (and won't be fixed until next year's version), I might just stick to playing it on the Windows laptop :-(

Hi Pete,

I'm sorry for any confusion. The only problem that we know of is using the Purchase button in the game. When you go to enter the code and register your copy of OOTP you should be fine. However, if you do have any problems registering please use my sig and submit a support ticket. That problem we can help you to resolve.
