Online league draft question

Posted here because I am new to the game

In an online league, 30 team, I am in

first year, 2013, draft had 1050 eligible players to be drafted,30 round draft

second year, 2014, has 2880 eligible players to be drafted, says only 25 rounds when I scroll the draft order list

Only differences from last season to this season were the comissioner removes scouts the day before the season started, he put them back and tweaked scouts when he put them back. The other thing is the comissioner changed the draft pool view date to 3-4 weeks earlier.

Is this a bug/glitch?

I normally would not be concerned but I am having issues making a draft list in game.I know that should not matter because the first few rounds are on the utility but I can not go through 2880 players on a utility that only shows them in sections and not all as one big group. It also whether game or utility takes up too much ram from my computer. Meaning in simplistic teams the larger the draft file, the longer and more likely crashes my computer. I did not have this problem with the 1050 player draft file, Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you haven't already, I'd ask the commissioner to make sure he didn't change any draft-related settings, or at least to confirm that his copy didn't change anything on its own.

He did not change anything, but he did confirm it says 95 rounds for draft. He did not change that from 30 though. I thought it may have to do with either the removing of scouts then bringing them back, or that he moved the date to view draft pool up 2-3 weeks from last season

That would explain the huge number of players. (95 rounds X 30 teams) = 2850 players, plus 30 more because it's probably also set to generate enough players for 96 rounds, which brings the total to 2880.

Don't quote me on this completely, but I think the commish can fix this by deleted enough players to bring it to (30*30)=900 players, so you can draft the right amount of players, then manually generate another 150 or so low-level prospects to represent the undrafted players.

Everyone involved should back up before he does this, though, so it doesn't wreck everything.
