Where do the free agents from independent leagues show?

Do they just go straight to the free agent pool? Is there any message that tells you who they are each year (like the international FA)? I haven't seen one in my hundreds of seasons of playing OOTP 14, so I don't really need to ask that question... Is there a way to see who these independent league FA are or do I just have to check the free agents periodically throughout the season?

I have 2 independent leagues in Canada and Mexico, each with an amateur draft. Free agents from these leagues are mixed together with those from MLB and my minor leagues. I don't think there is any general way to differentiate who comes from where -- though in my case it's usually easy to tell where a player came from by looking at his history page.

I think we are talking about two different things here. If you have international leagues in your game and you Allow Free Agents From Other Leagues in your league's options, then foreign free agents just "show up" in your free agent pool every year. However, also in options, if you Generate International Established Free Agents (provided for those people who do not have international leagues, like me), then I believe you do get a message every year that lists each of them.

EDIT: Apologies. Upon reading OP again, I realized what was being asked was answered by awick. Still, perhaps I clarified what Tyler87898 was thinking of and expecting but should now know that such a message is only provided as a result of the "shortcut" method of producing international free agents.

There's also an option for independent (domestic) league FA's to show up randomly, for those that don't have those running concurrently with the majors, but I don't think you get an email for those. They're just in the FA pool, but nothing calls them out so far as I know.
