First round pick ditches baseball
I just had my first round pick tell me before the season started that he was going to play football....

Same thing happened to me. He was the #7 overall draft pick and on his fast track through the minors. Since I had my team in rebuilding mode I was so furious about it, I had to quit playing immediately for a couple of hours. That's how I upset I was. Love that feature though, although it's pretty cruel to a rebuilding franchise.

Did you get your bonus back? Should definitely sue for that....
Also, did you fire your scouting director for not being aware that the player may prefer football to baseball? Seems to be a pretty basic failure to perform his job function there..... |

Watch to see if he changes his mind and gets into next year's draft!

Perhaps because I know what's causing this insanity and how to stop it?

Some people think the storylines are cool and and you piping in on every discussion of them to advocate turning them off is not helpful to anyone. I never play with them on, but that doesn't mean I can let someone else enjoy them..... |

Lovely. Another thread about the posters and not the game.

My dyslexia had the thread title reading, "first round dick pitches baseball". When you think about it not much was lost in the switch.

O'well, to me these little quirks add to the game even if they do sometimes suck in the short term. |

It's a disease, and they have it.

You can sue people? And scouts will tell you if they prefer football?
