I didn't realize about the historical logos - that's going to be great!

Minor new detail I am loving -- in the team home page, there is a little Baseball Cards tab. Nice that you can see all the players at once rather than go individually. Love the addition!

Weird. In the 'Standings' page you've posted I don't see the Seattle Mariners in the AL Western Division?

It's the 1972 season.

Your welcome. It is very cool to look at the league leaders in that screen shot.

This may be the first time I actually play an MLB game in OOTP. Just have to decide on what team to go with.

Wasn't going to pre-order ... trying to save money ... wanted to stick with 14 til the all-star break ... not sure I have the willpower after reading this!

Do it, do it, do it...... you'll kick yourself on the 20th if you haven't.

I know, I know. I haven't had much time to play lately due to crazy work hours and grad school, but I know once everyone starts talking about how great 16 is, I'll be wishing I had it.

A few minor logo issues with the 1972 standings screenshot:

1. The Braves are depicted with the uppercase "A" logo. But 1972 was the year the Braves switched to the lowercase "A" cap logo.

National Baseball Hall of Fame - Dressed to the Nines - Uniform Database

2. The Astros' logo has the "H" contained inside the star, but it should extend outside the "H." That logo in the screenshot was always a replica helmet logo (I had an Astros replica helmet with that same incorrect logo) but the real "H" logo extends outside the star.

3. The Indians' Chief Wahoo logo appears to be reversed. The feather is usually on the right.

Interesting, but not sure if it is worth the upgrade.

Love it!

OOTP16 makes OOTP15 feel ancient.

Well, if this would be the only new feature you'd have a point. But, fortunately, this is not the case.

I had never pre-ordered until this year- but as soon as this version of OOTP began to be displayed, I was pretty sure I would be upset to not be playing it right out of the box.

What Marcus has revealed so far in the screenshots really does feel- as a poster above suggested- it will make all other versions seem ancient. So many new pieces and parts, screens, information, from managers to playoffs, to baseball cards, to award tracking, to HOF and all star voting.

I am just finishing up my last few seasons now, getting ready to start afresh in two weeks with what looks to be a super super version.

I've been following the announcements prior to this and saw some of the other things that you have in store for this release. I skipped OOTP 15 also.
