OOTP 16 Patch #3, Version 16.3.16 Available! (Updated April 8th)

Important: This update is only for OOTP 16 versions which were purchased directly from us or resellers who use our version.
It is NOT compatible with the Steam or Mac OSX AppStore version! The Steam update is available via the Steam client and the Mac AppStore version is pending review at Apple, which will take some more days.

Info: Version 16.3.15 was released yesterday, but it had a bug in the Mac installer which caused the roster files not being updated. This new version 16.3.16 fixes this issue. So if you downloaded 16.3.15 for PC yesterday, you do not need 16.3.16.

Hey guys,

We have just officially released the 3rd update for OOTP 16, version number 16.3.16. This update fixes reported bugs and includes final updated Opening Day rosters (need to start a new game to take advantage of them).

Update Info: To apply the update, simply download the setup file and install it over your current installation. There is no need to uninstall or unlicense your current copy! However, you should quit the game before installing it, of course. Patches always contain all the changes from previous patches / updates. Saved games are compatible between different versions.

Here are the improvements / fixes compared to version 16.2.9:
- Updated Opening Day rosters (need to start new game for changes to apply)
- Added HOF metrics to voting page on higher screen resolutions
- Added HOF metrics to sortable player lists (need to delete "\tables" folder in OOTP custom data folder, can be found via Settings dialog -> Troubleshooting -> Open folder containing customizable data")
- Fixed playoff series fixed date bug
- Fixed International FA available money display
- Adjusted player and coach contract demands, and coach reputation calculation
- Fixed owner goals evaluation
- Fixed Mac slowdown
- Fixed play-mode selection when playing for a minor league team
- Fixed problems with the AI not selecting a DH for the Platinum Stick award
- Fixed human managers sometimes being promoted too quick when managing minor league teams
- Clearing league history now also clears the HoF
- Leagues with no playoffs now award "rings" to players of the team with the best winning percentage
- In play-off games, the batter & pitcher info now show current season stats instead of last season stats
- Top prospects are now more likely to expect a starting lineup assignment once they've reached the majors
- Fixed issues when trying to create minor leagues with an uneven number of teams per subleague
- Pitchers warming up in the bullpen now start to tire a bit later there
- Fixed several minor bugs + text issues

Final thoughts
We will continue working on the game, although at a bit slower pace now. 3D stadiums will get a great overhaul with the next update, and we'll also continue to fix reported problems and tweak areas of the game where we feel some fine tuning is needed.

You don't need to update if you are using a PC. This is a Mac-only update.

I wish we could have an option to only see scouted ratings,(stars) and not the dynamic on s found on the front profile page, trading screen, FA acreen, and just about everywhere else.

You do this after the patch or before installing it? I'm guessing after you install the patch, but wanted to be sure.

Mac user here. Have downloaded and installed the patch twice, but am still getting the old rosters.

For example, playing with the Braves, but roster not only has Craig Kimbrel and Melvin Upton, but also James Russell and Wandy Rodriguez, who were released in spring training.

What might I be doing wrong? Would it be worth it to completely uninstall, then re-install with the patch?

(And yes, I did begin a new game).
