Rule 5 draft?

Hey guys! I saw some threads in earlier version of ootp indicating that the rule 5 draft needed some tweaks. I think people were saying that teams were not protecting some very great players/prospects.

In the 16 version, I didn't see yet a thread abou this and wonder if it is running well like in real life?

I just want to be sure before I add this new rule to my 30 year fictional league

Thanks everyone

I've seen no problems with the Rule 5 draft on 16. Nor did I see any problems with it on earlier versions of the game. I think it works here as intended in MLB.

I've been noticing some pretty good prospects bring left unprotected. I waa able to get a 4 star Aaron Nola from the Phillies in the rule 5 draft one year. The Pirates left a 4 star catcher unprotected that same year. I've mentioned it before. I think it's something that's pretty hard to fix.

That's because it is league specific. It is going to happen in roster sets but not in fictional as much. The key thing is not to have a stampede to fix something that doesn't need fixing.

Huge issue, was able to grab Aaron Nola, Mark Appel, Reese McGuire, Tyler Kolek, Archie Bradley and Lewis Thorpe in same year.
