Decrease online league file size?

I have a rather large online league file that seems to keep growing (likely in part to scouting?) that im trying to find ways to get down to more of a manageable file size.

Currently a default MLB style league started in 2013 (in game year is 2023) with game generated college and high school feeders.

I know the feeders take up some space but I do not want to part with them.

Was looking for some other suggestions on how to get them file size down. Last nights file came in at 187.5 MB. I ran a test after deleting some retired players (only those that did not ever play a game which came to about 2000 players) and my file size dropped to 180 MB.

Hoping someone else has experienced this and knows of an easy way to save some space as our offseason approaches we sim on an every day basis and downloading a very large file daily can be taxing for some.

Im still somewhat new to the commish aspect of OOTP as with some help took over this league last March/April but i am experienced with OOTP.

That's a large file! Aside from eliminating leagues, I don't know much to lower that

I figured.... Was hoping there was a magic solution.

I set it to delete scouting reports for retired players and that didnt do anything in making the file smaller. I know if I clean the scouting database that lowers the file size but im not sure what reprocussions that has.

I have the same issue with my league file. We are 7 seasons in and it has grown too close to 400MBs. I have reached out to the community for suggestions but never really found that magic fix, couple suggestions here and there that were negligible.
