I'm curious how the index is made for surname generation, do they just use the census data?

Well, since we use a totally different and much more realistic name file in OOTP 17 (based on QuestDog's popular name database mod) I'm curious what kind of funny names will pop up here!

I still think Tim Spooneybarger is the best name in baseball.

I don't mean to be crude but Johnny Dickshot and Jack Glasscock will always take the cake hands down.

One of my favorites though is Dick "Dr. Strangeglove" Stuart. He also had the nickname "Stonefingers."

That man was a Designated Hitter before it was cool , or at least allowable in the rules.

Without a doubt, my favorite line of OOTP play-by-play ever was this flyball call from a 1940 historical league:
"Dickshot measures it."

And his hitter type? "Spray" or "Pull" for the win!
