Eighteen Year League Gone

I save my league every month, it was in the process of saving and the OOTP message have to close came on while it was saving. Could not exit program had to shut down computer. Now when loading the game freezes at loading faces 93 per cent then nothing. It is so frustrating to put so much work into a league to have this happen. This will now be the second time I've lost a league. Has this happened to anyone else. Thanks

Back up often. Save the league as a quickstart too.

Save your league and open one you don't care about before shutting down and then shut down with that league so if it does crash, it won't be with the league you care about.

delete the face data in your league saves folder for that league, worked for me and some other poster.

I already deleted my league and started a new one. But I will keep your idea in mind for next time as this is the second time I have lost a league the same way. Now is this the faces dat. file in the saved game folder. Thanks to the both of you for the work a rounds.
