Trades after trade deadline

I have played two season's and in each I get trade proposals after the trade deadline. Any reason why?

Trades can occur after the deadline, the players in them just have to pass through waivers first.

tysok, thanks, I guess since I have never accepted the offer's I didn't see it go through the waiver process.
