Receiving error at startup

I'm receiving the following error at startup after liceansing the game please help.

Please give us some more information like which OS do you use, did the game ever run on that computer, when exactly does it happen?

I'm using Win 98

Ootp06 works great, but Ootp2007 has never worked. I get the error mentioned above as soon as I click on the icon to open the game. It did however let me liceanse the game.

Please try to start the game w/o Facegen. Just add the parameter nofacegen to the command line. See How to add a command line parameter

Please also note that OOTP 2007 does not support Win98! See Specs at http://www.ootpbaseball.net/features.php#game :

1GHz processor
256 MB RAM
For Facegen to work you will need a graphics card which supports OpenGl

But it could probably work on your computer, please try it.
