OOTP Schedule Maker won't schedule Interleague Games
Hi,
I was hoping that someone might know why the schedule maker that comes with the game does not generate a schedule for my league that includes interleague play. I have clicked 'enable inter-league play'. Maybe I should unclick somthing else? Generally speaking, the schdules that are generated are pretty weirdly scheduled - three-four game series but with very random off days and an All-Star Game in June. I have evolved my league over time so it is AL & NL but includes four divisions and either four or five teams in each division. I currently have 20 teams in the NL and 18 teams in the AL - is this mismatch possible a reason why? Thanks, in advance for your help. Walt |

Is your league set up to have a balanced schedule? If so, I believe that it can't handle that and interleague play at the same time.

AFAIK it won't handle either unbalanced or interleague, independent of what the other is set to. Only balanced schedules without interleague games will be produced, unless the game is able to pull a custom schedule according to specifications.

Right. So unless you happen to have a standard number of teams, those options won't work? Sounds right.
