Small bug - uniform numbers
When manually adding a player to a team in commish mode, the player's uniform number increases by one on its own.

Did someone else on the team already have that number?

I bet that's it too. The game will not allow two players to share a uni number, so in these cases, the new player's number gets raised by one. Same thing happens when players are traded or signed normally.

I looked into this before the new full patch (can't remember if I was using patch 1 or beta2 though), and I saw the same thing texasmame does....then kinda forgot to post about it, sorry. Anyway, it indeed skips numbers that are already in use, but only after it already incremented the number by one.
Example: These numbers are in use in the major league team: 1 2 4 7 8 10 I was using reserve rosters, but I presume that doesn't make any difference. If I promote a guy who wears #3, he'll end up with #5 (increased by one, then again because #4 is taken). Promoting a guy who wears #5, he'll get #6. If I promote somebody wearing #6, he'll get #9. |

More importantly, Zeyes, why are all of your players so damned happy?

Okay, thanks. For some reason, I can't merge the two defects, so they'll have to stay separate at the moment.

This has been claimed fixed for the third patch. If after installing the third patch (once it is released), you find this to still be a problem, please post as such in Tech Support along with the above TT number. Thanks.
