Importing csv files into the game

Hey all

I've been playing around with exporting data into csv format to do some bulk editing, and I was wondering if there's a way that after editing said data, there's a way to import it back into the program?

I'm sorry, but I have no idea. I have appealed to more knowledgeable people for help.

If you go to "Game Setup" you can find an export/import button in the lower right corner. Use that to export, and you can then later import any changes.

Which files have you been editing? The rosters and player stats can be re-imported, but the rest can't be done 'in-game'. I've a few routines for importing directly to .dat, and whilst confident that they don't make the game crash, I can't guarantee accuracy as to whether where I think a field is is actually correct. Not having a public-domain database structure makes it a bit of guesswork.

I can do teams, players, ballparks, and world layout without it crashing. Trades, messages, scouting, and retired shouldn't be too far behind.
