Patch crash

I DLed and installed the path, and at the end of installation, it said there were errors during installation. I tried this 3 times with 2 different DLs, and the same thing keeps happening. My OOTP2007 icon is gone and the program (which now just has a generic apps icon) will not open. Please help

I'm not sure what you did. Unistall the game and then reinstall the full version and then install the patch.

Might be worth making copies of your game files before doing so.

You're going to have to manually delete these folders too after you uninstall to get a clean install.

First go to add/remove programs and remove ootp2007.
Next go to C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive and delete that folder. Then go to C:\My Documents\Sports Interactive and delete that folder. Then go to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Sports Interactive and delete that folder.

Now that will start you from scratch if in fact your league file is corrupt causing the error.

The above advice presumes you don't have any other SI games installed...if you do, then only delete the OOTP2007 folders within those SI folders, of course.

And as bp_ noted, you may want to move your saved games folder out of the way first.
