Historical Import Problem: Players, but not the League

As the title indicates, I am able to import players from Lahman 5.4 Comma Delimited Version, but when I attempt to begin a league in 1901, the game crashes as the players start to import. This happens each time. I set the league to include the history as well.

Any ideas how to make the league import work?

It isn't like there is a ton of history to import but that could be the cause of your crash. Can you try creating a league without any history imported to see if that works?

I will give that a try, but without the ability to import the history, I would rather start in 1869 or 1870.

I hear ya. I just want to see if it works. If it does work without history I will want to know your PC specs.
