Text Engine Problem

Got an error message when I start up that says: Text_Engine:: my_Load_text_file () folder doesn't exist.

the game plays fine except whenever I get a new message in manager mode I cant read what it says.. any ideas? thanks in advance

Have you installed this league in a non-default location?
Did you try to customize any of the files/folders that came with the game?
Does this happen in all of your saved games, or just this one?

the league is in the default location
I didnt try to customize any of the files
it happens with all the games.

I was able to reproduce this error by removing the folder C:\Documents and Settings\...\OOTP Baseball 2007\data\text\.

So, first of all, do you have a \data\text folder? And if you do, is there a file called english.xml (which should be about 2.89 MB) inside it?

If the answer to either of those questions is "no", I'd suggest reinstalling OOTP, since it sounds like that folder - which is rather important - just didn't get created properly the first time.
