crash on opening day

Hi,

I have set up a season using cubbyfan's rosters, had the computer set up all minor leagues and major league transactions, rosters, etc...and when I finally got to opening day and hit "quick-play" to simulate the game I had a crash to the desktop. Any questions or ideas for me? I appreciate the help. Also, when I got to spring training for the very first season it didn't even have one. I simmed one day of spring training (without any games being played) and it went straight to opening day. I have spring training turned on.

Check out the 'common problems' thread just above this one. More specifically, check out the section regarding 2006 roster sets.

I didn't see anything there that resembles my problem. The help shown with the roster sets is importing 2006 leagues. I'm not doing that. Unfortunately, I'm not savvy enough lol. I'm assuming my ootp is fine. I have a historical league going that hasn't encountered any problems like this one. The only thing I changed using cubbyfan's/airmen's roster set was turning ghost players on and fiddling with player ratings. So, I don't see why my spring training doesn't work and why the game is crashing on opening day.

I believe that CubbyFan's roster set is 2006 based. Please follow these steps:

"Some of the roster sets from 2006 are corrupted and don't work right.

Do this to fix this issue:

1. Go to Game > Game Setup
2. Click on the League Setup tab, then Strategy tab
3. Enter 16000 as the league total for walks

This should fix the issue."
