Unable to Advance Past Inaugural Draft

Unfortunately, I'm unable to move past my inaugural draft. I've FTP'd the *.dat files to SI's OOTP server (fhomess.zip). I did quite a bit since completing the actual draft, notably signing a number of players to teams manually.

As a lowly user I can't see much because of the commish password, but I find it interesting that the game seems to be waiting for a first-year player draft (according to the draft window), not an inaugural draft...the number of rounds seems to jive with that, too.

From what I can tell, the problem is that the amateur draft was scheduled for March 1st with a 75-day draft pool reveal window, putting the initial reveal into the past when the game was started. OOTP tries to compensate by making a draft pool on the next day (i.e. January 2nd) which gets that draft mixed up with the inaugural draft that hadn't taken place yet. I'm able to reproduce that in solo games.

FWIW, I've managed to advance your game by using "Set all teams to being controlled by [commissioner]" followed by "Set all teams back to being computer-controlled" as OOTP seems to be able to advance beyond the screwed-up draft if there's no human involvement in the drafting. You'll lose all your current manager-team assignments though.

Edit: And the computer GM's may do some undesirable things to the team rosters of course, even if it's just one day.

Well, I'll give that a shot and see how it works out. Reassigning managers doesn't take too long and with a good backup I can mitigate major disasters by the computer AI.
