Lineup problem after injury

My pitcher got injured pitching the last out in the top of the 8th inning. The game immediately went to this screen and is forcing me to put someone in the 9th slot of the lineup. I should be able to continue the game until that spot in the lineup comes to bat. Problem I am facing is trying to figure out whether to put a pinch hitter or a pitcher in the 9th spot. If i put a pinch hitter in and i dont get to the 9th spot in the lineup i waste a player ... and vica versa.

I agree that there is a small issue there. In the game in question, I'd just pop Schultz in the spot (because I assume you won't want to use him in the game anyway); this should not influence his fatigue status. I can see why this might be a bigger issue if you were deep into extra innings and had a short bench.

In my case everytime that this situation happen in my game. The game crash after I select a new pitcher to replace the injured one. This is how I do this : I take a pitcher on the list and I drag it on the spot number 9 where the injured pitcher was previously. The result is always the same, the game crash when I return to the match. I do the same thing to replace the other players and all works fine. Any idea why it's always happen to me ?

Salut AESP,

The injury/crash issue is a known bug, one that we all hope will be fixed in the next patch- it's not only happening to you.
