DFA and online leagues

I wish that a league could be set to allow a DFA period of at least 23 days (it is currently 21). While I suppose this could be called a new feature, I am assuming it is so easy to change, I am hopeful that a patch could include this.

Here's why it is needed:

Fairly typical online league running one week sims:
Day 1: Team places a player on DFA and waivers.
Day 8: 2nd sim: Other teams see the player on waivers and can claim him
Day 15: 3rd sim: If the player is unclaimed, the team removes the player from DFA

But if the owner of the team is out of town or misses the sim, the player will be cut prior to the sim on day 22. Since online leagues are made up of people who have other lives, too, it really seems to me that a one sim grace period is advisable.

Note that raising the max DFA period would not force anyone to do anything -- just an option for leagues that want to give this grace period. I cannot think of a downside to allowing leagues to make this choice.

I agree, and ran into this issue in my online league as well. I found that Waiver time needs to be 15 days if you do 7 day sims, meaning DFA time needs to be longer than 21 days.

This has been fixed. Max Waiver and DFA time is now 30 days.
