Weird lineup choices revisted

Someone had a ticket opened that they were satisfied with, and has been closed. It was called "Random Catchers Batting Leadoff" This is exactly the same issue as that, although it's not just limited to catchers. I used to just try to say "well, it's just my manager trying to get someone out of a slump". But c'mon, some guy with NO speed who's been busted from FT starter to platoon duty, and he's struggling to stay above the Mendoza line? I have a DH who is on pace to hit around 50 homers, and he has 1 SPD, 1 STL and 1 BR (out of 20). They'll throw him in the leadoff spot when it's time to sub in a 24-yr-old CF with great OB% skills and a 25/20 steal rating... and they'll put that guy in at the other guy's spot in the middle of the order.

As far as realism goes, I might just be about the most easy-to-satisfy person here. I really don't care about most things. But this is getting to be one of those things that I don't know if I can continue to tolerate.

I have not yet determined if it's happening when someone is getting subbed because a starter is tired, or if it's when someone is on a "Every 5th Game" type schedule.

But I have a hunch that it's based on when my catcher is getting substituted for, and has to do with the fact that my backup C is also the backup DH. But they also throw some other not-so-obvious choices for leadoff in there to mess up that theory.

Anyone know anything that might fix this? Or should I just acquire nothing but fast, leadoff types so whatever stupid lineup I get still makes sense?!

Could you post some exact examples, with screenshots of the players in question? Was this behavior limited to players being tired or subbed on a regular schedule?

As this thread has gone more than three days without a response, it will now be closed for housekeeping reasons. If you continue to have trouble with this issue, please post in Tech Support along with a link to this thread. Thanks.
