Scouting Task Not Working Ootp 8

Have full scouting on, but when I go to give scouts on my team task's it says I need to be in control...now i'm getting regular reports, so it seems to be the only the tasking area...

Also when you send your Scouts to the draft they leave after 1 day and you never receive an report on draft picks.

Are you playing in commish mode? If so, are you the actual GM of the team, or are you "Acting As" the GM?

No am not in Commish mode, am the GM just won't allow me to send my scouts out.

When you task your scouts, and look at the list it shows where and how many days they will be busy. But when you advance one day the list disappears, and you never get any reports.

Now I have reached the end of the season and I cant offer contracts to my scouts. When I go to the personel screen the action button is missing. I am not playing with Commish on. Thanks

Same thing occurring for me w/ League I copied from 2007 to OOTP8. Any tasks assigned disappear after one day. Strange.

I'm also not able to fire or extend any managers, coaches or scouts. When I enter their profiles, I'm seeing them all assigned to a single team which seems to be the one with the highest value for the team ID. The problem occurs on a game copied over from OOTP 2007 and on a game created from the ML quickstart included with OOTP8. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling OOTP8, but that didn't help.
