My team can't afford contract of offered player
According to the front office I have 15mil to make moves
1. Current Balance is: $15,563,605 2. Projected Balance is: $149,130 3. Financial situation is secure I have $15,841,415 The player I am trading has a 2 year contract at $71,800 per year or The player I want has a 5 year contract at $1,125,000 per year I have my preference set so that all revenue is available so why does the game say I do not have enough money to make this trade possible.. This is not the first time since i upgraded to OOTP8 that this is happened and it is frustrating ![]()

I can reduce the settlement by almost half and if both parties do not agree on the settlement amount there is no fee...We keep the attorneys away and the case out of court...The company I work for has 15 years of experience in negotiating settlements..... |

Yes, Our online league has a huge problem with this type of flaw. Teams have plenty of money and the "Manager doesnt approve this offer" or "You dont have the money to make this offer" when we are offering extensions or making FA offers. The "Manager" should not have any say in this, the "HUMAN" should be able to control how much he/she spends. When there is no salary cap, if you go over budget you take the loss that season, its always been that way. But not being able to go near the edge of budget because the computer "Manager" doesnt like it sucks. This needs to be patched!

8.0.0.13 not too sure f it is the same problem as the link you sent me.....I am in July with my league so the Arbitration and players to be free agents should not be a problem as I have not offered them any money at this time to count against my budget...
I have plenty of money to make trades and can afford most contracts , also I have the settigns set to allow me to use all lf my budget

So from what I read the only way to fix this is to do the work around mentioned in that thread...be easier if they just fix the problem

Yeah, this is a known issue related to assumed arbitration costs for later years. For now, there's nothing else to be done about it.
