Corrupt league file? Database won't load after switching computers

corrupt league file?

Made a thread about this awhile ago and never got it resolved...

my .lg folders are the same size on the new comp and old one...still can't figure out why this isn't working

Is this OOTP8 or 2007?

What OS are you using?

Try using only the .DAT files in a new league folder and see if that will load.

this is 2007 and I switched from XP on my old computer to Vista on my new computer

I am having the same problem. I switched to ootp2008 on windows vista and I am trying to load my online league. The league file is in place and it shows up available to load from the game screen, but when i hit ok to load, it gives me "Loading Database Failed" It says it is a corrupt file or an old saved games file. But the file is from the latest 2007 update from my online league so that shouldn't be an issue........help....is it vista that is causing these problems?

guess no one is going to have an answer for this...seems like a pretty big problem...you can't switch over your leagues from XP computers to Vista computers?

I'm just going to send you a PM asking for the .dats. I've got both an XP and Vista machine so can see what happens.

I had the same prob on weekend.

Redsoxford checked my dat files, maybe he found something.

I loaded up loeffle's dat files ok on my desktop XP version of OOTP so I don't believe the dat's to be corrupt.

I am having the exact same problem with the online league I just signed up for. No one else in the league has complained of any problems, but I get the same message on my Vista computer as others have mentioned. I have another computer running XP, I will try running it on that computer and let you know.
