No All Star Game scheduled 8.0.0.13
Hi, i'm playing in 1932, my first year in big leagues after managing three in minors. when I was in the minors, an All Star game happened every year but I don't see one on the schedule for this year. Can anyone help me out with this? Is there a setting I could have hit that would have screwed this up?

Can you verify whether an all-star game was ever held for the major league? (I'm assuming that what you wrote meant that your minor league had an all-star game scheduled each year.)

Any advice how I could do that? I checked the batter of the year award winners and none of them had been named to an All Star game so I suspect it didn't happen but I can't find a way to display the schedule for the last three years. If I go to the day by day schedule display, no games show up at all in 1931.

Check the League Setup page (Rules Tab), I think, and see if the All-Star option is checked for the Major League.

I think its Game/League Setup from your dropdowns. I'll check it out in a sec.

You'd think it'd be there, but greyed out as an option if you're in June. It should show available to make a change in the off or preseason, however.

Are you playing in a real-life historical league? Do you have two subleagues?

Yes, real life league with all actual ML teams, I made no modifications to it. Fictitious minor league systems for each team AAA-AA-A-SA-R. ML quickstart in 1929 I believe. I have historical players loaded each year along with fictitious players to fill out the minors. The fictititous minor league players are allowed to reach the majors.
The only changes I made to the default settings were I checked for historical modifiers to be imported each year and I turned off revenue sharing when I realized it was on earlier this season. |

It looks like MLB didn't have an All-Star game until 1933. I assume that because you are using historical settings, you won't see an All Star game in 1932.

I'll close this one out for now, then. If you don't see an all star game next year, please post a link to this thread in Tech Support and we'll work on it from there.
