Run Time Error

I am trying to start up OOTP 8 and when I do I get a run time error "Abnormal Program Termination" instead of it going to the main menu like it should, and I do not know why it is doing this as it was working fine just a couple of days ago.

Could you please try uninstalling and reinstalling the game, then letting us know how that works out?

No, uninstalling and reinstalling should not make you lose any of your leagues, or even make you put in your license again or change any of your settings. As long as you don't manually delete your saved game folders, they will still be there.

okay I am just sort of becoming concerned however with the fact that I'm seeing similar eerors appear on other programs errors of the Microsoft C++ sort, like this one.

Just wanted to come back to this and say I fixed the problem with a simple restart of my computer,so the game works now.

OK. I'll close this thread for the time being. If the problem reoccurs you can ask for this thread to be re-opened
