Loaded - 87% Loading Messages Crash

When loading a league, OOTP8 (most current version) gets to 87% (Loading Messages), get hung up & finally comes back with a message saying "The program has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual manner. Contact Administrator for support."

Interestingly, this only happens when I load one of my two leagues.

I've tried uninstalling & re-installing, but that doesn't work.

I've tried deleting all messages in the Message folder, but that doesn't work.

How can I fix????

This can be closed, problem fixed. I read through the other Threads & found a solution. My messages.dat file had a size of 0KB. I replaced it with a "blank" messages.dat file & it worked.
