OOTP 8.0 Macintosh Freeze on Import
Hi,
I have OOTP 8.0 running on an eMac 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD, OS 10.5.2. I installed the game to its default location in the Applications Folder. I put the files from one of my leagues, which runs fine on my Windows PC, in the "correct" place on my Macintosh. (/Applications/Out of the Park.../OOTP Baseball 8/data/saved_games/...) When I load the league all the correct details are there, etc... However, when I go to import team exports from my online league, in commish mode, or to export my team to the ftp server, or do anything "online" (even Test the Connection under Game Setup), the program freezes, and freezes hard. I have to reboot the Mac. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and if so, or not, could you please help me? I had the same problem when I was using OOTP Baseball 2007. Thanks, Clay Bergen |

Do you have any firewalls active on your Mac?
