missing .msi file

I have 2007 installed on my work computer and I need to uninstall it within the next month.
(we are changing companies and switching computers so IT will be coming around doing an audit of what everone has on their computer starting July 1)
I have uninstalled the game. There is no associated folder left on hte c: or d: drives, but when I bring up the add and remove programs panel ootp 2007 is still listed as a program. When I highlight it and try to uninstall it again I get the following message.

I'm not sure. Did you use the Add/Remove Programs list to uninstall it in the first place? If not, maybe try reinstalling it and then uninstalling through there.

That did the trick. I am not sure what lead to this. The only thing I did that was out of the norm when uninstalling or installing the game, was I went through the process of placing the game on my D: drive rather than C:
