Crashing during report generation

I'm the commish for an online league, and the game is crashing for me during the report generation (using the commish automator). It seems to crash during player report generation.

Similar problems were reported in other threads:

But unlike the one fix made there, my league does not have a player who appears to be an anomaly.

V 2007, latest patch, Windows XP Pro, 2 gigs RAM, have simmed nearly two seasons before this without this problem.

Can you try generating portions of the player reports at a time? As in, try each league separately? I wonder if we can narrow down what is causing the issue.

Aw, man. I dunno. Lemme look.

In the Commish Portal, you have an option to Create & Upload HTML reports. To the right of that checkbox is a button named Reports settings. From that screen, you can select which reports to generate. Try different combinations to see if not including any particular one will allow you to avoid your error.

Interesting. Just how much history does your league have?

Obviously in the mean time, you can upload your reports without the history included. We'll try to figure out the rest, though.

How many leagues and minor leagues do you have? Can you narrow it down to one of them in particular that causes the issue?

One major league (20 teams: 2 leagues, 2 divisions per league), four minor leagues (AAA, AA, A, Short Season A). I think it's the major league report that's crashing.

Test it, please. Only include the history report for the major league. Don't include it for the others. See if you get a crash.

What happens if you only select to generate the major league history report, and unclick all of the rest of the reports?

Ok, now it works. I wonder if flipping the season fixed the problem (duplicate player # or some such).
