Just want to say that for me, adding faces easily to the game as part of the game....is HUGE for me. I never did get it to work for me in the last game with outside software. Possibly because I'm daft......but doesn't matter.
BIG addition. |

What kind of video card do you have? There are several ways to find out, but each card has their own way ... but offhand, I'd say that if your computer was built within the last three-to-five years and you've kept your drivers up-to-date, you'll be fine.

GeForce2MX type i2c, whatever that means. It's four and a half years old. And what's a driver?

Yes, and when Mac subsystems (like iPhoto or Safari) have new versions, my machine updates them automatically. It doesn't automatically update the software for supported peripherals (like scanners or printers). I would guess that a video card would fall into the latter category.

What he said, except I waited for this to be officially in OOTPB because I'm not daft.

So, you're saying there are still some roster management AI bugs? Is that what you really mean?
All kidding aside, this sounds incredibly awesome.

Custom FaceGen Faces
Would it be possible to create A Custom face folder, in addition to the African, Asian, Caucasion, East Indian and Hispanic folders, where user created faces are assigned to specific players?
If not in this version, perhaps in the next version. |

FaceGen Question
Is the Facegen included with OOTP 2007 a subset of the application? Really, what I'm driving at is - how many unique faces can I actually "gen"? I'm looking for real numbers here...thousands of different faces, 10's of thousands? Or, do I have something like 8 different chins * 8 different noses * 8 different whatevers = 512 different faces?
Thank you! |

Yeah, their appearence changes based on their morale...if they are happy, they have a smile on their face, if they are angry it turns into a scowl...

Before OOTP creates a fictional picture for a player, it searches the /photos folder for "real" pictures, named firstname_lastname.jpg or .png as in the previous version, and uses it. Like in the previous versions. Only if it doesn't find a specific picture, it will use FaceGen.

Will it be era-contextual, or will there sometimes be faces that don't quite match the times -- long hair in the '40s, or facial hair in the early '60s? And will caps change style over time for those of us starting fictional leagues in the early 20th century?
