Minor League Affiliation

1. Has this been changed at all from '06?

2. Is it possible to have an unaffiliated league become affiliated and vise versa?

3. If no how do affiliated league with no affiliated teams react? In '06 the teams filled themsleves with free agents and made no trades, etc. Is this the same still?

4. If unaffiliated will it just run like an independent leagua, making its own trades and so forthe?

You can now edit the league affiliation. So yes, you can have non-affiliated teams in an affiliated league.

Thanks, Markus (I always like getting answers from "the horses mouth").

Being able to edit the affiliation, does that mean League A can be unaffiliated for 20 years and then change to be affiliated (and vise versa)? Or just that League A has to always be affiliated but that it can switch from parent League A to parent League B? Its the first question I hoping for a 'yes' to.

Will the unaffiliated leagues/teams perform like the affiliated teams, in terms of roster management?

That's a big question I have, too, particularly for unaffiliated teams that are in partially affiliated leagues (for which there is a lot of historical precedent). Let's say four of the ten teams in a league are affiliated with a major league team. Will the other six perform like they are independent, or will they be the headless beasts they are in OOTP2006?

Props to what the Hotdg said and yes, please do test this. In '06 having unaffiliated teams in affiliated leagues was very disappointing.

Any news on how unaffiliated minor league teams behave in terms of trades with major league clubs, FA signings and so forth?
