I think what he's referring to is the ability for two separate human managers to play out a game together in "hot seat" mode, sorta.

I won't get to see this until Friday, but if you remind me after that, I'll report back.

That is all I am asking for, this is how my league has run since the 80's. I just want to be able to set up 2 human controled teams and hot seat from the same computer. While play over the net woul be a great future edition, I'm just looking for HtH hotseating. We can't justify upgrading without it, my league loves to get together to sim out the games (we only sim out a small portion of the games, but we still enjoy it).

Hotseating is the BEST way to play games!

But really all I want to do is play.

So I'll try harder to be patient and hopefully the board will be patient with me.
And yes, I am still continuing my campaign to promote adding a 'mass select' option to Out of the Park 10.

It's not. I checked it this morning, and found a bug. Markus has (AGAIN) claimed it's fixed in the next beta. Remind me again next Friday!

Sheesh, you just have to keep on that guy ALL THE TIME.

I certainly will! Glad it is going to make this year's version!

Thumbs up Good news!

Hey, guess what? It works!

I just did this in the latest beta build:

1. Created a new game.
2. Created 2 human managers, and signed them up for the Denver and Honolulu teams.
3. Went to spring training.
4. When Denver was scheduled to play Honolulu, I was logged in as the Denver manager.
5. I selected "Manage"
6. In the pre-game options, both teams' managers defaulted to their human managers! I had the option of having the AI manager manage either team.
7. In the game, both managers have an option to select a "play" for each pitch.

It also doesn't matter which manager is logged in. If either manager is logged in, you have this option available.

Need to do some more testing, to ensure that the game itself plays out smoothly, and that information is recorded properly in their records and such.

Plus, I want to point out that this was not intended to be a full-fledged H2H feature. There are no fancy graphics saying "Joe Smith's Turn" or anything like that. You just select a pitch, and then the "swing" options appear.

There will be a certain amount of "scouts honor" involved, I think.

I hope this helps!

Steve
