Have you pre-ordered? Post here!

I certainly did, a real bonus with the discount!

Oh yeah, even without the discount it was cheap to my eyes and with everything that seems to be taking shape with this version ... didn't have to think about it at all.

I did. I am very pleased with the additions and fixes that were addressed for 2007 and am really looking forward to the release.

Even though I didn't play OOTP 2006 all that much (I got frustrated and went back to OOTP 6.5), I pre-ordered OOTP 2007. Even though I wasn't a fan of the last version I will always support Markus' efforts- he's one of the few class acts in the interactive industry.

Hey, I'm good to my name!

Don't suppose the new version will make me a better manager, though, will it?

Right, if you finish 60-102 and the owner cans you that's not the fault of the game, it's not the new interface, and it's not a sign of a bug ...

You dont' want to get into an contest over who the worst manager of all time is. I've got that market cornered.

I'm not going to pre-order, but am very much looking forward to trying the demo.

No, it will allow you to efficiently and quickly make a bunch of dumb moves.

I'm sure someone will flame the game a week or two later because this new found efficiency got them fired and they want the "old" clunky 2006 play style back.

2-1 says that within 24 hours of release the flames will start.

And even odds that most of us can accurately predict who'll be carrying the book of matches.

Right now I am brooding about the new features not including multi-nation leagues, promotion/relegation, "champions league" functionality and international national-team tournaments -- ie world baseball classic or better yet a baseball world cup complete with regional qualifiers. When I'm done brooding I'll probably pre-order.

If DB efficiency hadn't been improved I would have waited for v2008. That was the only "deal breaker" on my wish list. For perspective, I have bought every version since discovering OOTP3.

It wouldn't be tax season if I didn't pay Uncle Sam and pre-order OOTP
