Question Will OOTP2007 have steroids & suspensions?

Just curious if the new version will have steroids & suspensions for use.

I highly doubt it.

In fact, I wouldn't count on it. Ever.

Don't get me wrong, I would love suspensions, but I would highly doubt the fact that we will get steroids.

No, I meant for like brawls and on-field stuff. Maybe even off the field stuff, like driving with a machine gun and vodka in your backseat.

Hey, why not walking off a drawbridge, too?

This is a baseball, not football.

I know, I just have to take every shot at Clarett I get.

But on-topic, I really think suspensions should be a part of the game. Steroids, not so much.

Oy...enough with the Magic 8-ball already. Is Huber Heights anywhere near Ridgeview, Ohio? Maybe it's time to consult The Mystic Seer for a new set of canned answers. Be warned though... he only takes pennies and the biggest ham at the diner he lives in will not be found between two slices of bread.

I asked this before and nearly got my head bitten off. Apparently suggesting it as an option means you condone and support all steroid use.

edit: Steroids! (Long post ahead!)

Huber Heights is north Dayton.

Those were song lyrics. Possible bonus answer if you come up with the group's name.

11 minutes...excellent!

This weekend's testing involves off field injuries.

Off the field injuries could certainly be edited to include suspensions for drug use or whatever else.

I used to have a humorous injury.txt file that included "spontaneous combustion" and "terminal laziness" as career ending injuries. What was really funny was I had it so that these could happen in game as well, so you could have a guy get hit by a pitch and then leave due to terminal laziness.

I picture some guy getting beaned hard in the leg, throwing down the bat, and saying, "Screw it. This ain't worth it. I quit." Then he just leaves and is never heard from again.

Or a guy dives for a ball in the hole and erupts in a sudden ball of flame, tragically cutting short a promising life and career.

Morbid, but funny.
