Expansion Related Question
When a team moves from one Sub-League to another (ala the Brewers), how does the history handle this in 2007?
I seem to recall there could be issues with that in 2006 at times. |

What kinds of problems did you experience in 2006?

I never had any problems in 2006 moving teams from one sub-league to another, such as the Brewers from the AL to NL. Everything looked alright in the history as far as I could see.

Not sure what issues you had but the histories work essentially the same. The old subleague represents the moved club as an inactive franchise and the new subleague shows the club starting it's history in the year of the move. |

assuming you're a beta tester, spot, could you add any more to this answer? When you contract a team is there a dispersal draft (or something special like that) or does everybody in the organization become a FA? thanks.

Markus never butts in. He preempts and adjudicates.

To be fair, I haven't played with it in a while, and could have been fixed in a patch, but I'll try it again to see.
There was an issue where say, someone was MVP for we'll say, the Brewers in the AL, would have the team name removed after the swtich to the NL. So "Robin Yount (MIL)" would be "Robin Yount (-)", and if they'd won a championship at all, the name would be blank in the list after the move. I'll look at it later when I get home to see if that's still an issue, or just something old I'm summoning up. |
