Screen Resolution - In Game

Past versions have always been 1024x768 and for people running higher resolutions lcd's have in the past only partially filled the screens.

The monitor I have now (and many in this day & age) support up to 1600x1200 and the lower resolutions on this does not look very well.

Will this years game be windowed or at least have the capability for those of us that would want it (ala FoF, etc...)

I don't know how well it will work, but it seems like v2007 will be better for those of us playing on non-1024x768 displays.

Yes. I don't have the game in front of me, but I'm 99% sure that 1600x1200 is one of the options for Windowed mode (1280x1024 is what I use, personally).

The best part of the variable resolutions is that the Transactions screen scales: at 1280x1024 you get six 'panes' on that screen, so you have to do significantly less toggling between displayed rosters. My LCD won't go higher than that, though, so I can't tell you if you get even more than that on higher resolutions...

1600 x 1200 is one of the preferences. I don't know how well it works, I am trying it out in a moment.

out of curiosity, how about 1280x800, or any other widescreen?

No wide screens yet. I've requested them though.

Markus posted a screenshot of transactions at 1600 by 1200 a week (or more) ago. It had nine mini-screens on it.

But really all I want to do is play.

So I'll try harder to be patient and hopefully the board will be patient with me.
And yes, I am still continuing my campaign to promote adding a 'mass select' option to Out of the Park 10.

Yup. Looked impressive.

Waiting for playtime at native 1920x1200.

edit: The post, FWIW.

I am currently running at 1440 x 900. I am curious to see how the game works on that resolution.

Out of sick days? By the middle of February? I think you are way more dedicated to OOTP than LeiterFanatic gave you credit for.

FWIW, I've been a member of this forum since 2002. Prior to this fall, I had a grand total of about 20 posts.

You do the math on my current post count.

FWIW from me, you're doing a great job, judging by what I've read in your last 700 posts or so since January 31.

I'm running it on windowed at 1280x1024 and it's nice, it's like having full screen but still having the windows task bar visible, so you don't need to ALT+TAB to switch to other applications.
