Questions about league min/max

Just curious as I'm trying to think of ways I can implement this new feature in my leagues...but are the min/max restricted to "feeder" leagues? Or could I define the rookie level to have a max of 25, Single A a max of 30, and say an indepdendent "old timers" league to have a min of 35 (no max obviously)?

Strictly speaking, the min/max age limits aren't limited to the feeder leagues only.

But the last scenario you raised (i.e. an old timers league) isn't 'completely' possible as of the latest beta build, because even though you can set the max age at (let's say) 90 years old, the game still ends up retiring players in their late 30s/early 40s. So even though the game does a good job of creating a league full of old timers (i.e. 35+ guys), most of them retire after the first season.

As for the other two options, I haven't actually tried that - but I'm pretty sure they would work like you want them to. I'll run some tests and see how it goes.

Thanks

thanks for the reply. That's cool that I'll be able to set max ages for the lower minors. I don't recall many 35 year olds ending up in the Rookie levels, but at least I can prevent it for good now.

and yeah, totally realize what you are saying about the old timers league. Guess that'll take some playing around with and see how many older players quit the majors and go play in the indy league.

Thanks for the info.

I'll definitely make use of age limits for lower minor leagues. It should be interesting to see how it works.
