It's March 23rd!!!

Well not quite.

What wil everyone do first once they have the game up and running.

I'll probably be setting up logos for my new historical fictional league starting with 1901.

Well,

I will be dying to import my 2006 fictional league which I am 11 seasons into right now so that I can expand, add faces, and all that jazz.

but.... I think I might create some test leagues first, wait for a few patches and then proceed.

I do think this game will be much more stable than 2006 right off the bat obviousley because the complete re-write is out of the way.

It will be a while before I actually play a game too.

Yep I'll play around for a bit until the first patch comes out, with a game this complex I'm going to want to make a few trial leagues anyways.

I'm sure I'll check it out right away but I won't be moving my "good" league over from 2006 until either the last patch is out or I get an "all safe" from most of the board.

I'll probably just create some league so I can play around with FaceGen. I'm a logo geek and I want to make sure I understand how it works rather quickly.

This game is the best baseball sim available right now with no patches and its still over a month away from release----thats how good this is...

IMHO, I can't see there being too many patches with this one...

I'll probably import my current 2006 leagues and also set up a new game so I can play with the expansion, logo, and face features.

The March 23rd timing is perfect. I have to spend a full two weeks with family around Easter before going back to my job in Deutschland. It'll give me something to do after the niceties of the first couple of days, and keep me from being bored to tears. The plan is to get up, shower, eat, play OOTPB 2007 for hours, eat, and watch my beloved Red Sox. Fun, fun!

What sort of time on the 23rd will it be ready?

I imagine the vast bulk of downloads will come from the US so making it available at around 8am proper time (GMT ) will give us Europeans a chance to grab it early...

Probably now be a massive snowstorm on the night of the 22nd March and Marc and Markus will be stuck in their villages unable to get to Watford and press the big red button...

It's a Friday and not too close to the end-of-month that I can't give myself a day off to play around with it. I'll probably play out a couple of seasons of fictional MLB and then try and create my UK league/dynasty.

Dola,

The best laid plans of mice and men...

I'm spending the day at Great Ormond Street Hospital with my daughter on the 23rd March... I thought it was the 23rd February we were going...

I think I'm gonna dive right in with small 16 major/ 64 minor league solo league. It looks like you can make changes if you make a mistake, and the league creation process seems to have been made a lot easier.
