Ping for Logos: Silvam, Oxydizer, cephasjames

I may have missed some other folks, but it looks like the three of you have tons of incredible looking fictional logos available on photobucket and other places.

I would like to host these logos on my new OOTP Mod Website, and was hoping that you could send me a .zip archive of your work (or send it to me via "sendthisfile.com" or some other method) so I could post them.

You may want to get intouch with Knuckler, Reds & Pepeda as well, they make some awesome logo's and were the one's that got me started, I guess you could call them the pioneers of the OOTP logo Thang!!

Hey Padresfan,

I would love to send the logos I have worked on to you. I'm a little concerned about the file sizes as there are over 2000 logos. I may break them up into several zip files if that would help. I'll try to get them to you sometime this weekend.

That sounds good Silvam. If you do decide to send them as one big file, I'd recommend using "Yousendit.com", as I use it all the time and find it really easy... My address is sixwilsons at mac.com

I can vouch for myself when I say that I will certainly be working on unis for my leagues, and I could be willing to do requests once I get the format down.

Important note for logo makers
OOTP 2007 will require team logos of 150x150 in png format. PadreFan has some wonderful GIF logos from the PureSim days on that old Web site.

After spending a number of hours today on beta testing with those logos, I finally got them to convert correctly for use in the game with these details (hope this helps you as you build the Web site of logos):

1. Irfanview 3.99 with all plugins installed.
2. Batch conversion of GIF to PNG.
3. ASCII not Binary setting.
4. 150x150 and make sure to "preserve aspect ratio."

Worked like a charm. Hope this gives us a head start when all the logos start showing up.

I've grown attached to a fictional universe that I play in PureSim, so I decided to recreate the logos that I created for the 32 team organization for the upcoming release of OOTP. These are very simple "Cap" logos created with Photoshop Elements, but they get the job done. I'm looking forward to trying the new features in OOTP to turn these logos into a full set of uniforms!

I'll post the complete set to my website when they are done, but here's a few so you can get an idea of the stlyle. These are the logos for the Anaheim Coasters, California Bears and Hawaii Volcanoes.
