In my experience with FaceGen randomly generating a face, it creates far too many people with very pale faces and far too many where the whites of their eyes are grey. It generates far too many people who don't look athletic. Some of the modifiers (smiling for example) don't create what I would consider realistic expressions unless you modify the facial features elsewhere (lift the eybrows, and modify the mouth shape). Those are the first few examples that come to mind. I realize what I may want from the feature may not be what someone else wants. I'll make the request once again that the users have some access to the controls on FaceGen through a config file or whatever. Lastly, I don't think Option #2 (regenerating the face) is a practical solution for most of the potential problems. With the thousands of players in a league, this has to be the last resort for just a few faces that don't match expectations rather than a catch-all "solution." If even 10% of the faces come out "unacceptable", imagine how much work it will be to correct that in a league of thousands. And what if I'm in the middle of a game the first time I see a player's face I can't live with. Do I have to write down his name and remember to change his face after the game? What if I'm happy with the face generated but I think all the guys frowning in my league because of playing time look cartoonish. Other threads have talked about cap shadows and cap position. Regeneration won't help a lot of perceived "ills". So far this feature looks outstanding. Maybe my concerns are baseless (baseball pun intended). I hope so. I have my hopes up pretty high for this feature. I think a lot of people do.
